'Pretty much the coolest city we have been to in America'

Helloooo everyone. We have safely arrived in Vancouver and have been loving every second exploring this beautiful city hence the delayed post about our final destination of San Francisco! San Fransisco - we think it should be renamed to 'pretty much the coolest city we have been to in America', a slightly long city name but we think it has a nice ring to it haha. We stayed at an awesome Air B n B in a area called sunset district and were hosted by an awesome couple called Bethany and Luke. They even left chocolates and vegan treats for us to enjoy along with a sneaky bottle of red (ski was pumped) and their best suggestions of what to do in San Fransisco. Ski and I said hello and shook hands. We must have looked like silly buggers as we both tried to shake hands at a distance due to the fresh off the campsite smell we had acquired.  Its fair to say the first things we did at San Francisco was have a shower. 1st full day at San Fran involved an early get up to go and exp...

We drive through yet another set of gated booths which quite frankly are everywhere here in the USA. Its really weird. However, we  again  flash our national park pass unlocking the little gem that is Yosemite Valley. We were beyond excited and quickly took in views of jaw dropping scenery. We took time to plan a hike for the next day and after some time mucking about trying to find information, trying to park, and navigating the seas of people, eventually we made our pick. We were on the John Mist trail early and beat the crowds. The 6 oclock start was well worth it as parking was a breeze and we had the trail to ourselves. Having walked long enough to get a sweat up, we were then showered by the spray of a massive waterfall as we clambered up the slippery steps. We both got drenched but continued up the trail. After six hours of trekking sometimes in the wrong direction, seeing two amazing waterfalls, spotting the half dome, and also seeing loads of wildlife we complete...
